PACKAGES

+ INFO

First of all, if I haven't said it already, congrats to the both of you on be getting engaged! This is such an exciting time for you as you start to plan your day and begin to see it come to life.

Secondly, I'm thrilled you're here.
It means you've seen my work and feel a connection to it, which is so important.

Keep scrolling to read about the wedding packages I offer, what you can expect from me throughout this whole process, and for more information about my photography approach... and how this whole wedding planning thing works.

my approach

From the first stages of planning to helping arrange your wedding day timeline, to carrying your dress and pinning on boutonnieres, to every email and phone call and meet up in between that... I'm your gal. You can expect me to be professional while keeping my laid-back demeanour. You can expect a few corny jokes and a healthy dose of sarcasm. And always, always, always... a smile on my face.

A few things you should know about my style:
You'll notice that I shoot in all different types of light! I believe all light is stunning, and I will always choose the most flattering light for you. I will also direct you in planning a timeline that makes sure we use light to its fullest potential, no matter the time of year.

You'll notice that I take an authentic approach to my editing process (use that slider to the left!). I want you to be able to look back on your day and think 'that's exactly how I remember it'. Drastically changing the colours and feel of your day is not my style, but I do believe in the power of editing and creating a beautiful + cohesive gallery for you.

You should know that creating relationships with everyone that's in front of my camera is super important to me. From the questions I ask in emails, to meeting up for your engagement shoot, to questionnaires sent to you before wedding day... it's all about trust + communication! I believe in getting to know you, why your love exists, and how I can be the best person to document it.

The more you let me in, the more you'll be able to see your true selves in your photos.

These photographs are going to be the only thing from the day that become more valuable and cherished over time. That's why I describe it as something to invest in, and that's why it's important to ensure I'm the right fit for your day.

ADD COVERAGE

You have family and friends in town that you haven't seen in months, maybe even years. You're gathering the day or night before your wedding and would love to have photo coverage of this time together. Maybe you've planned a big backyard bbq for everyone, a bonfire on the beach, a family hike together, or an intimate dinner with toasts + speeches... having this time captured is a great way to start out your wedding weekend. It also gives me the opportunity to meet + connect with your people, and warms them up to having their photo taken (which then makes them more at ease on wedding day).

$800 (1.5 hours of coverage)

You've decided on a package but think you may need an extra hour of coverage,

or day-of you decide you'd like me to

stay a little longer. Weddings can run behind and the last thing you need is to feel a time crunch-- I'll be there to

capture it all!

$400/hour (10 hours+ $550/hour)

It's not very often that you have ALL of your favourite people in one place and under one roof. Your wedding day is so special, and being fully present with your guests is so important. Instead of taking an hour+ on wedding day for portraits, we book a shoot together for the day after. This allows you two to enjoy every moment of your day (don't worry I'll still snap some portraits of the two of you on wedding day!), and not have to worry about a time crunch. This also allows us to choose the optimal lighting, and to go beyond the venue area for portraits.

$1000 (1.5 hours of coverage)

A second shooter is a great addition to any wedding day (especially if your guest list is over 120) and your timeline could benefit from one (talk to me about this!). It's also great to have a second shooter for all the extra angles, extra shots of your guests, and for the times I can't be in two places at once.

$150/hour (4 hour minimum)

engagement shoots

Simply put, these shoots are the absolute best way for the three of us to connect before I photograph one of the most momentous days of your life.

This session allows you to see how I work, while I see how the two of you interact with one another.

We pick a place that you both love, set a time for the best light, and get some amazing shots of the two of you.

For all couples who book a wedding with me, these shoots are $500 and can be added on to any package you choose

(regularly $750).

wedding timelines

You might be a couple who knows exactly what you want when it comes to your wedding timeline, OR you might be a couple who has no idea where to start (trust me, you're not alone!). I'm here to help you out.

Below you'll find two typical* wedding day timelines, one with the First Look happening BEFORE the ceremony, and one with a First Look happening AT the ceremony. I'd recommend making this First Look decision early on as it will determine the flow of your day greatly.

I've also added in 6, 8, and 10 hour brackets so you can see what's all covered during these timeframes. Keep in mind the flow of the day and time needed will depend on a few things (time of year you're getting married, whether or not you have a wedding party, if there are multiple location changes). All of these things will affect your timeline as well.

After officially booking me for your day, all couples receive guidance on timeline planning, my tips + tricks, and how to get the most out of your time with me!

"Kaylyn was such a dream to work with!! She captured so many moments that I had no idea she was even around for, and was always right by my side when I needed her for anything. The family photos went so smoothly, even though it was raining, hailing and every other type of weather you can think of. She left a lasting impression... enough of one that my brother hired her for his wedding! I can't help but feel I've made a lasting friendship in Kaylyn."

Let's Meet

02.

01.

If you're set and ready to book me as your wedding photographer then I'm thrilled. Send me an email and we'll get the ball rolling on signing the contract and sending in the retainer.

After those two things are completed you will officially be booked in for your wedding date!

We can connect over a coffee, a glass of wine, meet at your fave brewery, or jump on a video chat to meet + get to know one another.

You can tell me more about the two of you, the day you're planning, which package + add-ons would work well for you, and we can go over any questions you may have.

If you're on this page that means you've already reached out and inquired about your wedding, and I'm so happy you're here. Let's keep chatting about your visions + dreams for your day, and how we can bring them to life.

If you're still deciding on a date and/ or venue, no problem. Let me know as soon as possible as I tend to book anywhere from 10-24 months in advance and would hate to miss out on your day.
